The Difference Observed in the Philosophy of Non Denominational and Traditional Churches

Posted by admin in Church

A lot of experts on religion say that there is a marked difference between the philosophies of non denominational churches like the non denominational churches in Lexington KY and the traditional ones. Many of us believe that those people who do not attend services in traditional churches but meet in groups instead to discuss their own beliefs of the spirituality of Christ and the universe, were not religious. However, if you were to research on what religion really is, you can find that there are numerous descriptions which are often contradictory.

Religion is described as a set of beliefs concerning the nature, cause, and purpose of the universe. These beliefs focus particularly on the theory that the universe has been created by a supernatural being, a deity, or energy. Some people think that the creator is an intelligence or universal energy that is just around us or is in us, beating in our hearts, drawing the air in and out of our lungs, and keeping our bodies alive without us teaching it what to do. This is also described as our stand or our “way of life”, that if we believe that there is a power greater than ourselves, then we have a belief or a religion.

Churches came about dating back for thousands of years and have evolved over time. Some have lost their sense of purpose as time goes on where they became vehicles for power and politics to rule over the people. This is the reason why non denominational churches, like the non denominational churches in Lexington KY have surfaced all around the country. Their purpose is to bring people together, especially those who think alike and explore the theory that spirituality is in all of us. If only we free ourselves of the doctrines that were created traditionally, we will not be guilty and fearful of anything.

Non denominational churches like the non denominational churches of Lexington KY believe that inside every person, there is a power coming from our creator, to create our own lives and keeps our body alive. The society needs to get hold of the positive and negative contributions offered by the traditional religions in a balanced manner. Religions made a remarkable contribution in the pursuit of scientific and philosophical truth, hence the reduction of human suffering, better political systems, and enhanced educational knowledge. But then, society also learned that religion has its dark side, where religious beliefs led to intolerance, hatred, suffering, and discrimination which are unjustified. This is why we see genocides and mass murders committed, human slavery, and oppression of women and of minorities, all around us.

Non denominational churches believe in people empowerment whatever is your color, race, sex, nationality, or sexual preference. All of us are part of one source and so we are all one; considered valued, loved, and worthy to live in this planet. If we know how to choose to live our lives, the option to live magnificent lives is all in our hands.
